Lyrics[]

English

Tomorrow's colours echo through the empty night sky
As twin stars draw their arcs overhead.

Our cries echo through the unruly clouded sky, pouring in torrents
As we draw towards samsara, trying to shed our hollow attachments.

Handwriting drizzles down, flushing down the drain in a smudged haze
And thus we remain, unable to find our way back.

Believe in the New Luna, believe and march on.
Past the road's countless branching diversions.

Believe in the Waxing Luna, believe and remain present.
Through the road's adversities, passing as the seasons.

Believe in the Crescent Luna, believe and march on.
Believe (believe), even if the LunarOrbit may threaten to unravel.

Believe in the Full Luna, just believe.
Hold faith in the arcing orbit of the white Espebranch road.

Trivia[]

  • In the English title, "Espebranch" is a portmanteau of "Esperanza" (Spanish for "hope") and "branch".
  • The song's Japanese title is 白道、多希望羊と信じありく。(Byakudou, takibouyou to shinji ariku.)
    • In the Japanese name, "多希望羊" is a portmanteau of "希望" (kibou, lit. "hope") and the idiom "多岐亡羊" (takibouyou, lit. "decision paralysis due to overwhelming complexity").
    • "白道" ("lunar orbit") also literally means "white path", and is the subject of a Buddhist parable[1]. In this parable, the White Path is a narrow path that leads to enlightenment, and runs alongside the twin rivers of flame (anger) and water (greed).
  • A sequel to this song, titled SolarOrbit -Connected with the Espabrother- was composed for Lanota.
